Information from you may be required to conclude certain actions ie. Purchase, quotation requests, orders etc… when using our site, as appropriate, you may need to fill in your details ie. Your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number.

If you wish not to have your information entered on to our web page, You may email your order or request directly to us using the contact information under the Contact us tab.

Security – cookies

Cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to understand and grow the website as needed by you, the user. You can usually adjust the setting of your bowser to decline cookies if you prefer, however this may prevent you from taking full advantage of most websites.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Payments

Tactically Armed accepts cash payments, in South African Rands which may be made at our office where goods are immediately available, or may also be paid directly into our bank account which will be provided as needed.

Tactically Armed accepts payment via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) directly into our bank account, details will be provided as needed.

Please e-mail your proof of payment (PoP) to us at billing@tacticallyarmed.co.za.

Tactically Armed accepts Visa and Master card payments at our offices as well as Card payments on our secure site which are processed via payfast, a registered payment gateway, where we are notified of successful payments.

Shipping

Self-collect and own courier collections are available at no charge.

Shipping is for the Customer’s account when initiated or requested by the Customer, including purchases, returns (for repair, exchange or refund) and replacements.

In the unlikely event that Tactically Armed supplied an incorrect item from what was listed on the invoice, Tactically Armed will ship the correct item to the Customer and arrange for the return of the incorrect item at no charge to the Customer.

Should it be necessary to return an item to the manufacturer for repair, the shipping costs to and from the manufacturer is also for the Customer’s account. These costs would be quoted first and require written / e-mailed confirmation from the Customer.

Tactically Armed offers the use of the following courier at their standard rates:

  • Post net
  • Ram courier
  • Fastway courier
  • Free shipping for orders of more than R1500
  • See items excluded list here
  • Except for orders that include targets and target stands, firearms and other restricted goods (ammunition and primers)

Backorders & Special Orders

These terms are related to all backorders, custom or special orders placed in any form of communication, online or at our office. In the event that we do not have a specific product in stock, we may be willing to import / obtain any (legal) product on behalf of a customer, on these terms:

Our efforts to obtain a product will commence on confirmed receipt of your deposit payment.

Your payment is considered a deposit only, and is by no means the full and final payment.

You, the Customer, accepts and understands that there are numerous factors influencing the final pricing of a specially imported product, including but not limited to forex and currency fluctuations, seasonal increases, physical and volumetric parcel size charges, duties and levies, handling fees and many more.

Special and custom orders are very difficult to determine the lead time. We will make all effort to obtain the product as quickly as possible; however, we will not be able to commit to a specific delivery date at time of order.

It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to determine that the goods or services ordered are suitable for the purpose of intended use.

Special / custom orders are NOT refundable.

Special / custom orders can NOT be cancelled.

Once your specially ordered product arrives, we will create your final invoice for payment. Your product will be dispatched as soon as we receive your proof of payment.

In the event that we may have sourced and landed the product for cheaper than originally anticipated (for whatever reason), we will make the amount that the Customer over-paid available as store credit on our e-commerce shop, or in our retail shop.

General

Tactically Armed (PTY) LTD (hereafter “Tactically Armed”) is a private company registered and trading in South Africa.

Tactically Armed is not responsible for” typo” (typographical) errors.

Tactically Armed reserves the right to cancel any order you have placed if there was a typographical error on any of the Tactically Armed stores concerning the pricing or availability of any item you ordered when you placed the order.

Tactically Armed reserves the right to change or amend the terms and conditions of sale at any time.

Tactically Armed reserves the right to make changes at any time and/ or without notice to prices of or information of or description of any products or services offered.

The information provided for products and services may be out of date, and Tactically Armed makes no commitment to update the information provided with respect to such products and services.

Tactically Armed reserves the right to do any of the following, at any time, without notice:

  • To modify, suspend or terminate operation of or access to Tactically Armed , or to any portion of Tactically Armed, for any reason;
  • To modify or change Tactically Armed, or any portion of Tactically Armed, and any applicable policies or terms;
  • To interrupt the operation of Tactically Armed, or any portion of Tactically Armed, as necessary to perform routine or non-routine maintenance, error correction, or other changes.

It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to determine that the goods or services ordered from any of the Tactically Armed are suitable for the purpose of intended use.

The risk of damage to or destruction of goods is passed to the Customer on taking physical possession, or by means of signature of the delivery receipt upon delivery to the Customer or the Customer’s nominated representative and the Customer undertakes to insure the goods fully.

To the extent permitted by law, all sales at Tactically Armed are governed by South African law, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.

The Customer acknowledges all copyrights, and shall not duplicate copyrighted material under any circumstances.

It is the duty of the Customer to return any defective goods to the premises of Tactically Armed, at the Customer’s own expense, and in line with our Refund Policy.

Any order is subject to cancellation by Tactically Armed due to force majeure from any clause beyond the control of Tactically Armed, including (without restricting this clause to these instances): inability to secure labour, power, materials or supplies, or by reason of an act of God, war, civil disturbance, riot, state of emergency, strike, lockout, or other labour disputes, fire, flood, drought or legislation.

All guarantees are immediately null-and-void should any equipment or product be tampered with or should the seals on it be broken by anyone, or should there be any signs of abuse, or should the goods be operated outside the Manufacturer’s specifications.

Under no circumstances will Tactically Armed be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or loss of profit or for any delictual liability of any nature whatsoever.

Under no circumstances will Tactically Armed be liable for any damage rising from any misuse or abuse of the goods.

Any printout of computer evidence tendered by Tactically Armed shall be admissible evidence and no party shall object to the admissibility of such evidence purely on grounds that such evidence is computer evidence.

All goods supplied by Tactically Armed remain the property of Tactically Armed until such goods have been fully paid for, and such payment be verified as successfully received in the company bank account.

No Tactically Armed employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the Tactically Armed store’s policies or the terms and conditions governing any sale.

All quotations are only valid while stock lasts and for a maximum of 7 days

Stock is only reserved against full payment or against receipt of an agreed deposit where such agreement is also stated in writing.

If any of the aforementioned policies are held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be void or unenforceable, such policy shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and replaced with a valid provision that best embodies the intent of the policy, so that the policies shall remain in full force and effect.

Tactically Armed’s failure to insist on or enforce strict performance of these policies shall not be construed as a waiver by Tactically Armed of any provision or any right it has to enforce these policies, nor shall any course of conduct between Tactically Armed and you or any other party be deemed to modify any provision of these policies.

The Customer shall be liable to Tactically Armed for all legal expenses (including collection fees) on the attorney own client scale incurred by Tactically Armed in the event of:

  • Any default by the Customer, or
  • Any litigation in regard to the validity and enforceability of this agreement.

The Customer will also be liable for any collection or valuation fees incurred.

These policies shall not be interpreted or construed to confer any rights or remedies on any third parties.

By interacting in any way or form via any means with Tactically Armed, the Customer warrants that he/she:

  • Has made himself/herself fully aware of these terms,
  • Fully understands these terms, and accepts these terms.

Indemnity – By making use of any of our services, or by purchasing any of our products, or by entering the retail shop, you agree to indemnify and hold Tactically Armed retail store, Tactically Armed (PTY) LTD, and its respective members, employees, agents, suppliers, information or service providers harmless from, and against any and all claims, liability, losses, costs and expenses incurred in connection with any use of products, services or information made available here.
